Customers overview

Customer profiles keep contact details, notes, billing and delivery addresses, tags, custom fields, order history, and documents together for the selected location.

Staff-created and storefront-created customers use the same records. Storefront credentials and sessions are separate from staff authentication. A customer can have several addresses and one default for each purpose. Orders copy immutable address snapshots, so correcting a customer’s current address does not alter past documents.
